EscapeMap

Enum EscapeMap

Source
pub enum EscapeMap {
    Julia,
    Mandelbrot,
}
Expand description

Escape time only: what the pixel is (ADR-0180’s [field] map).

Variants§

§

Julia

The pixel seeds the orbit and c is the c_re/c_im constant — one Julia set, which the constant reshapes.

§

Mandelbrot

The pixel is c and every orbit starts at zero — the Mandelbrot set, the map of which constants give a connected Julia set. c_re/c_im are inert.

Implementations§

Source§

impl EscapeMap

Source

pub const ALL: [EscapeMap; 2]

Both maps, for the load error and the schema export.

Source

pub fn from_name(name: &str) -> Option<Self>

Parse the canonical [field] map = "..." value, or None.

Source

pub fn as_str(self) -> &'static str

The canonical name — from_name’s inverse.
