Expand description

[voxel] — the structural configuration, fixed while the preset is loaded and delivered through Scene::configure.

Fields§

§grid: u32

Cells per side of the cube, validated at load into MIN_GRID..=MAX_GRID.

§rules: RuleList

The rules a preset lists, compiled.

§seed_radius: f32

The seeded ball’s radius, as a fraction of the cube’s half-side.

§seed_fill: f32

The probability a cell inside the seeded ball is live.

§wrap: bool

true: the cube is a 3-torus. false: every cell past a face is dead.

§shells: u32

How many radial shells the spectrum lights, 0..=MAX_SHELLS; 0 lights none.

§present: Present

How a live cell is drawn: as glowing light, or as a lit solid face.

§salt: u32

The preset’s pinned salt (ADR-0051), which every seeded cell is drawn from.
