Igor Konovalov

Hello! My name is Igor Konovalov — I'm a fullstack developer at EPAM, working mostly in TypeScript and Python, and I live in Belgrade, Serbia. Welcome to my personal site. I like building strange things, and lately the strangest and most interesting of them are AI agents.

A lot of my recent work sits right at the boundary between solid engineering and letting an LLM agent actually drive. I built market-analyzer, a desktop trading-analysis app where Claude Code is the control surface — you talk to the agent, it calls tools on a local Python service, and a live chart reflects the results. Not a chat box bolted onto a GUI; the agent is the cockpit.

I also build small, focused Telegram bots as real tools — a Serbian real-estate search bot that scrapes listing sites and tracks price changes, a channel-statistics bot with its own dashboard, a reference bot for traditional medicine. Each one does one thing and stays cheap and boring in production, which is my favourite kind of software.

The one I'm most into right now is on the more playful side, and it's in Rust: light-music-visualizer, a real-time music visualizer built around a shared Rust core (GPU rendering via wgpu) that feeds both a standalone app and a foobar2000 plugin. It's in active development, and it scratches the same itch as the generative-art demos on this site — mathematics and creative coding, and the geometry behind the pretty pictures.

My hobby is photography. Follow me on Instagram.
